Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Maliar wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“Since the beginning of the Russian Federation’s open large-scale invasion of Ukraine’s territory, the troops of the invading country have suffered the following losses (approximately): as of 15:00 – up to 80 tanks, 516 armored combat vehicles of various types, 10 aircraft, 7 helicopters, and about 2,800  personnel,” Maliar wrote.

As reported, the head of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, announced the start of a special military operation in Donbas. In the early hours of Thursday, February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine and launched a war.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved a presidential decree on the imposition of martial law throughout Ukraine.
