Ukraine’s Armed Forces regain control of Hostomel airport – Arestovych
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have regained control of the International Airport “State Enterprise Antonov” in Hostomel, 10km of Kyiv.
“Now we have repelled [Russian attack] for sure. Hostomel airport is ours [under Ukraine’s control]. The Russian landing party has been destroyed,” Oleksiy Arestovych, a non-staff adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Earlier, it was reported that the occupiers took control of the International Airport “State Enterprise Antonov” in Hostomel, less than 10km of Kyiv.
